GED Reading: Read, Read, and Read Some More
Read, read, and read some more. All of the GED tests involve reading. Unless you can read and comprehend what you read, you will have difficulty with the tests. Read every day whether it is the local newspaper, a book, or your email. Grad a book and read to your child. If you struggle with reading, find a good teacher or tutor. The higher your reading level and comprehension, the easier the tests will be for you.

GED or Pre-GED ??
When considering GED study materials, there will be many choices. My suggestion would be either Pre-GED or GED materials depending on your reading ability. Pre-GED is appropriate for individuals who are below a 9th grade reading level. GED materials are appropriate for individuals above a 9th grade reading level.
If you are unsure of your reading level, check with your local tech school or adult tutor and have your reading assessed. It's painless and should be quite inexpensive.
